Join us for a spectacular afternoon of music featuring Alan Morrison, one of America's premier concert organists and pianists, in a performance that showcases his extraordinary artistry and versatility. This concert celebrates First Church's acquisition of a wonderful Steinway Model D concert grand piano.

About the Artist:
Alan Morrison’s career spans performances across North and South America, Europe, and Russia, earning widespread acclaim for his compelling interpretations, colorful use of the organ, and impeccable programming. He has performed with prestigious ensembles such as Chanticleer, Empire Brass, and The Philadelphia Orchestra, and his collaborations have included luminaries such as Yo-Yo Ma, Hilary Hahn, and Isaac Stern.

A champion of American composers, Morrison has premiered major works by William Bolcom, Adolphus Hailstork, and Bob Chilcott, among others. He serves as Head of the Organ Department at The Curtis Institute of Music and holds the distinguished title of Organist-in-Residence at Spivey Hall.
